Three men in their 20s were arrested during an anti-police march in downtown Denver Tuesday night “when they decided not to obey the law,” Detective John White said.
Their names were not released. White said a group of marchers were in the 1400 block of Broadway just before 8 p.m., when three of men began blocking traffic on the busy thoroughfare.
They were each charged with being a pedestrian in a roadway, a misdemeanor,
The protestors scattered in Civic Center park afterward generally protested police violence, but said they also represented causes dedicated to homelessness, opposing police profiling and fighting against greed.
