A portion of I-225 will close overnight Saturday because of a construction project.
The northbound and southbound lanes of the highway will be shut down between Iliff Avenue and Parker Road as workers pour a new deck for the Yale Avenue bridge, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The closure is scheduled to start at 9 p.m. Saturday and the highway should reopen at 6 a.m. Sunday.
Detour routes will be set, but drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible.
