A Boulder man was injured Monday night in a mountain bike crash on a trail west of Lyons.
The 48-year-old man, who was not identified, went out for a trail ride on Hall Ranch and was expected home about 8:30 p.m. but did not return, according to a Boulder County Sheriff’s Office media release.
The sheriff’s office was called about the overdue biker about 11:30 p.m. and emergency personnel responded.
He was found at about 1 a.m. on a trail and had suffered a neck injury in a crash, the sheriff’s office said.
The victim was taken to Longmont United Hospital for treatment.
