Those who would like to pay their last respects to the man who entertained Colorado children for more than 40 years will have a chance Tuesday.
A wake for Russell “Blinky The Clown” Scott, who passed away Monday at age 91, will be from noon to 6 p.m., Monday at Drinkwine Family Mortuary, 999 W. Littleton Blvd. Scott’s funeral will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday at Denver Consistory Theatre at the Scottish Rite Center, 1370 Grant St.
Following the services, Scott will be laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver with full military honors, family members said.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in honor of Russell “Blinky the Clown” Scott to Shriner’s Burn Hospitals c/o El Jebel Shrine, 4625 W. 50th Avenue, Denver, CO, 80212.
