Thursday. We’ve written it before, but it still holds true: Thee Oh Sees is one of the best live rock ‘n’ roll bands touring the United States. The San Francisco band’s rise among Denver audiences has been steady — from sold-out shows at the Larimer Lounge and Moe’s Barbecue to this week’s headlining show at the Gothic Theatre (3263 S. Broadway, Englewood). The larger venue seems overdue for the psychedelic-garage outfit, which routinely plays for thousands at festivals here and abroad. The show comes just days after the release of “Putrifiers II,” one of the fall’s most anticipated indie releases. Fellow Bay Area garage rocker Ty Segall will support the band on Thursday, and Deerpeople will kick off the night. Tickets, $13-$16, are available through .
