PHILADELPHIA — With the field drenched and no window of clear weather existing, the Rockies-Phillies’ game was postponed Saturday.

The teams will play a split doubleheader Sunday with the first game at 11:05 a.m., followed by a 4:35 p.m. nightcap. Tyler Chatwood and Drew Pomeranz are scheduled to pitch for the Rockies with Cole Hamels and Tyler Cloyd going for the Phillies.

Philadelphia waited several hours to call the game because it was close to a sellout. That also helps explain why it is a split doubleheader with separate admissions Sunday. Both the Saturday and Sunday games were expected to be near capacity.
