COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—El Paso County authorities are investigating the shootings of two horses and a lion they believe may be related.
Two horses were shot and killed in Calhan over the past three weeks.
Less than a half mile away, El Paso County Investigators say a lion named Zazu was shot in the shoulder at the Serenity Springs Wildlife Center.
According to KKTV-TV ( ), one horse owner is offering a $2,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for killing their horse.
