Hologram 2Pac is no more, and with his demise, hopefully comes the end of all spooky reincarnations of dead musicians on stage.

 reports that Digital Domain Media Group, the company responsible for the lifelike projection, filed for bankruptcy protection. The 20-year-old special effects company worked on movies including “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “Transformers” and “Titanic.” The company even won an Oscar for the effects in “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.”

2pac was killed in 1996, but still , appearing in hologram form to perform alongside Snoop Dogg. His .
