Cherry Creek North jewelry designer and retailer Elizabeth Lindsay knows the power of a charm and other heartfelt messages that can be worn around the neck or dangle from a wrist. Lindsay has built her business of hand-stamped silver tags bearing messages of love and hope after having lost her mother and two aunts to cancer. In the past few years, she has also worked with such nonprofit organizations as Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Lindsay’s latest project is a cause important to Kim Adair, a colon cancer survivor. Adair, whose Golden-based organization is cheekily called Butt-Check (), enlisted Lindsay to design a bracelet. Twenty-five percent of the proceeds from the sale of the designs, which cost $149, will be donated to research being done at the Arizona Cancer Center. Lindsay made a bracelet for talk show host Katie Couric, whose husband died of colon cancer, and the design is going to be given to her and her daughters. Elizabeth Lindsay Creations 3003 E.
