The undulated with sound and gyrating bodies on Thursday evening as took the stage, playing to a packed house. Throngs swarmed the Boulder Theater for this show, originally promised as part of a package deal along with the band’s Red Rocks date with Umphrey’s McGee on Friday. Things started off with a small tribute to Bill Monroe on his 101st birthday and continued on through the night, playing two long sets of music, both old and new, that delivered to those fans in attendance the promise of more good things to come at the Rocks.
