
The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce said Monday that Abram Sloss has been appointed executive director of the Denver Metro Small Business Development Center. Sloss will assume the role Oct. 1. The position was previously held by
Sloss previously worked as a senior financial management analyst at the city of Denver. His background includes running a small business, consulting for small business development centers and working for large consulting firms such as PricewaterhouseCoopers.
“I’m excited to be part of a tremendous team that’s committed to the entrepreneurial spirit,” Sloss said in a statement.
Sloss has both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s in business from the University of Iowa.
“Abram’s thoughtfulness, enthusiasm and experience will help propel our (small business center) to the next level,” said Kelly Brough, president of the Denver chamber.
