said Thursday that it will open its third Colorado store, which will act as an anchor for a new development at Centerra in Loveland.

The company said it has signed a letter of intent with McWhinney, a Loveland-based developer, for the store, which will be built at the northeast corner of Interstate 25 and U.S. 34.

The 117,000-square-foot store is initially expected to generate 250 jobs.

Major attractions at Centerra include the Promenade Shops, a 700,000-square-foot lifestyle mall, as well as the Marketplace at Centerra.

With Bass Pro Shops anchoring the development, Centerra retail sales are expected to exceed $500 million annually, said Jay Hardy, vice president and general manager at Centerra.

and Tracker Marine Centers across the United States and Canada.

There is currently a store at Northfield Stapleton in Denver, and a store has been announced for Colorado Springs.
