GYPSUM, Colo.—The Eagle County coroner has identified the body of a woman found in the Eagle River as 40-year-old Stephanie Brantley of Gypsum.
Coroner Kara Bettis said Monday that Brantley died of a gunshot wound to the chest. The case is under investigation.
A fisherman discovered Brantley’s body on Friday behind the Gypsum Wastewater Treatment Facility.
