Tuesday-Wednesday. In a world where Cirque weirdness has often replaced circus wonders, sometimes you just miss seeing an elephant stand on its head. Granted circus life comes with its controversy, but small outfit the Piccadilly Circus will play four Colorado shows in the next week — promising the Cossak Warriors, motorcycle madness and a wild pack of sheep dogs called Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. The party will take over the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Golden (15200 W. Sixth Ave.) on Friday-Saturday, the Colorado Springs City Auditorium (221 E. Kiowa St.) on Sunday-Monday, the Boulder County Fairgrounds (9595 Nelson Road in Boulder) on Tuesday-Wednesday and Island Grove Park (501 N. 14th Ave.) in Greeley on Thursday.
