Denver music aficionados might remember that the short-lived Mile High Music Festival was originally planned for City Park, then relocated to Commerce City after pre-emptive protests by (human) members of the Denver Zoo. Saturday will mark the park’s first significant rock-oriented show in several years when Chipotle’s inaugural Cultivate Festival lays out a day of “food, ideas and music.”

Best Coast, Grouplove, Okkervil River, Tennis, Zach Heckendorf and Chris Golub will take the stage throughout the day during the free event, which also features artisan food, craft beer and wine, short films and eight chef demos about sustainability. Plus, of course, the burritos (and burrito bowls), which we hear Mitt Romney savors. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., East 17th Avenue and Steele Street. .
