Investigators in Jefferson County released photos Friday morning of a woman suspected of mail theft and fraud.
The woman in the photos is suspected of stealing from a mailbox in the 1400 block of West Cedar Avenue in Golden, on June 23, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
Among mail stolen from the box was a check, which was fraudulently cashed at a Wells Fargo Bank in Englewood, the sheriff’s office said in a media release.
The sheriff’s office said the woman is also a suspect in other metro area crimes.
Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 303 271-5612.
