Durango Pumpkin Patch Exress

The Great Pumpkin Patch Express takes place Friday-Oct. 21 and Oct. 26-28 in Durango. This “Peanuts” train departs from Bryson City Depot and includes a narration of “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” campfire marshmallows, a pumpkin patch, trick or treating and musical entertainment. Taste of Trinidad fest

This year’s Taste of Trinidad Fall Festival will be Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m, at the Mount Carmel Health, Wellness and Community Center. This family-friendly event includes live entertainment, a Halloween costume parade, signature bites from local restaurants, and contests for pumpkin carving, and best pie recipe.

Emma Crawford Coffin Race & Parade

The legend of Emma Crawford lives in Manitou Springs, at the Emma Crawford Coffin Race & Parade on Oct. 27. From 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. in Downtown Historic Manitou Springs, this spooky family event features a Parade of Coffins, races, and an Emma Crawford Estate Sidewalk Sale.

Alamosa Pumpkin Patch Train

Take your family on the Rio Grande Scenic Railroad’s Pumpkin Patch Train on Oct. 27 in Alamosa. Kids are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes as they take a short train ride led by a Scarecrow to a local pumpkin patch with a hay-bale maze, pumpkin picking and trick or treating. coloradotrain.com
