GREELEY, Colo.—A trial is under way for a Northglenn man accused in the shooting death of a Harlem Globetrotter trainer.
Jury selection began Monday for Draton Mares, who is accused of murder and theft of a vehicle.
Mares is accused of shooting and killing 42-year-old Thomas Bashline in November, then stealing his truck. Bashline’s girlfriend found the body in the bedroom of Bashline’s home in Frederick.
