GREELEY — Jury selection began Monday in the trial of a Northglenn man accused in the shooting death of a Harlem Globetrotter trainer.
Draton Mares , 23, is accused of shooting and killing Thomas Bashline, 42, in the rural Weld County home Bashline shared with his fiancee. Bashline’s fiancee called police after finding his nude body on their bed on Nov. 4.
with Bashline, according to an arrest affidavit.
