LOVELAND, Colo.—The driver of a Loveland school bus that struck a pedestrian who later died faces a misdemeanor traffic citation.
Police said Monday that Tracy McDowell faces one count of careless driving resulting in death.
Police say McDowell was turning when the bus hit 70-year-old Norma Selzler on Wednesday. She died two days later. No children were on the bus at the time.
The Loveland Reporter-Herald reports ( ) McDowell is on paid administrative leave from the Thompson School District, which plans an internal investigation.
