COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A former Ellicott School Board member accused of having sexual relations with a 17-year-old boy has been sentenced to extensive probation after pleading guilty to sex assault charges.
Stefanie Dickinson faces 10 years to life on sex-offender intensive supervised parole after her sentencing on Wednesday.
According to KKTV-TV ( ), Dickinson is also banned from having contact with anyone under the age of 18 except for her own children.
Dickinson was arrested in October on suspicion of sending lewd text messages to her son’s 14-year-old friend. That investigation led to another person who said he was 17 when he had a sexual relationship with her.
As part of a plea agreement, prosecutors dropped a charge accusing her of sending lewd messages.
