The World Wide Antique Show continues with more than 100 art and antique vendors showcasing antiques and collectibles. CELEBRATE
Day of the Dead
The Denver Botanic Gardens celebrates Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with entertainment, Mexican loteria (bingo), a craft area, dancers, artists, face painting and a photo booth from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday. The festival, a “welcome” for the souls of the dead, is based on ancient traditions traced to the Aztec civilization in Mexico and the belief that the souls of the deceased return each year from Oct. 31 through Nov. 2. The Colorado Railroad Museum promises “tricks, treats and trains” at Railroad Halloween Town Saturday and Sunday. Costumed museumgoers can hop on the locomotive’s vintage passenger cars hosted by costumed engineers and conductors.
