The Denver coroner’s office has identified a woman stabbed to death in her home Wednesday night as Rebecca Knox, 49.
The medical examiner reports she was stabbed in the chest and her death has been classified as a homicide.
Denver police on a report of stabbing. Officers found the woman, since identified as Knox. She was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Mike Burnett, 55, was arrested near the scene, police said.
Police did not give a motive in the incident or release information on the relationship, if any, between the victim and the suspect.
