The former White Stripes frontman gets to check “hip-hop” off his “genres to try” list after rapping on the new track “Blues on Two Trees.”
The song will be released as the B-side to White’s new single, “I’m Shakin.’ ” Typical bluesy rhythms start off the song, then White breaks out his mad flow.
In a deadpan tone, White raps: “Three trees lying on the side of the road / One tree barks, ‘Where the hell do we go?’ “
Perhaps White got his inspiration from previous collaborations with Insane Clown Posse and Black Milk. The song is available in full as of Tuesday.
