DENVER—Denver authorities have charged a man in a connection with a murder that occurred nearly a year ago.
Alfred Flores has been charged with murder in the death of 27-year-old Manuel Martinez, who was found dead Nov. 27, 2011.
Lynn Kimbrough with the district attorney’s office says the charge is the result of work by the Denver Cold Case Project.
According to KCNC-TV ( ), Flores was arrested on Oct. 30. He will appear in court next week to be advised of the charge.
