For the record: Utah is 4-7 overall and 2-6 in the Pac-12 after Saturday’s 34-24 loss to Arizona in Salt Lake City.
Streaking: This is Utah’s first nonbowl season since going 5-6 in 2002, Ron McBride’s last year as Utes coach before Urban Meyer took over.
Who’s hot: Senior tailback John White has games of 105, 101, 142 and 112 yards rushing.
Who’s not: Utah in Pac-12 play. Since joining the league last year, the Utes are 6-11.
Key stat: True freshman quarterback Travis Wilson, who took over the starting job at midseason, had his best game Saturday against Arizona, hitting 28-of-40 passes for 311 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. He brings his new confidence to Folsom Field against CU’s worst defense in the nation.
FYI: Wilson was a starter on a league championship volleyball team for San Clemente (Calif.) High School.
