BOULDER, Colo.—The U.S. Forest Service is restricting recreational shooting to daylight hours in Lefthand Canyon and the former Nederland dumpsite in the Boulder Ranger District.
According to the Boulder Daily Camera ( ), the new limitations are in response to safety concerns over shooting at night.
Both areas are heavily used for recreational shooting and rangers say there have been a number of complaints.
