Shopping is more fun when the things you’re buying benefit worthy charities. That’s the theme behind the annual “Gifts that Give Back” event at stores this Friday in Cherry Creek North and Saturday in Vail. Participating vendors that donate a portion of their proceeds to nonprofit vendors include Toms Shoes and Sunglasses, FEED bags, Falling Whistles, Pura Vida, Peace Love World, Sisa Nepal bracelets, Krochet Kids and Precious Hands bags. The store is also hosting its annual Michael Stars trunk show and promotion featuring 20 percent discounts on one item. A percentage of the day’s profits will be donated to , an organization co-founded by Patti Weinstein, Roxy’s owner.
