A is in effect from 2 a.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday for Saguache County west of the Continental Divide, the eastern Sawatch mountains and the northern Sangre de Cristo mountains, including Independence Pass, Mount Elbert, Mount Massive, Blanca Peak and the Spanish Peaks. Those areas could get up to 8 inches of snow.
