Through Jan. 12. The holiday miniature art exhibit, an annual custom at traditional galleries, gets a clever twist this year by the fully contemporary Rule Gallery in RiNo. Instead of the regular, drawn-down landscape paintings, owner Robin Rule has charged her stable of artists to come up with objects a little more of the moment. The pieces in “The SMALL Masterpiece” are indeed small — Clark Richert’s “Pentangle” print, full of dots and lines, is just 20 inches square — but as the uppercase title implies, the works are big on thought. And the show is large on interesting names: Andy Berg, Susan Blake, Kim Dickey, Mary Ehrin, Mark Sink, Sandy Skoglund and more. The gallery, 3340 Walnut St., is open noon-5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, so there’s still time for holiday shopping. 303-777-9473 or .
