LONGMONT, Colo.—Longmont police say they never got an email warning that a man suspected of killing his ex-girlfriend and two others that the man posed a threat and might have a gun.
A friend of one of the victims, Roy Choudhary, said Wednesday he warned police that Daniel Sanchez posed a threat and might have a gun.
Longmont police Cmdr. Jeff Satur tells KMGH-TV ( ) an officer working the case probably never answered because the officer was on vacation.
On Tuesday, a woman called 911 and a dispatcher heard a gunshot. Authorities say Sanchez then took phone and told the emergency operator he shot three people. The dispatcher then heard another gunshot.
Sanchez’s ex-girlfriend, Beatriz Cintora-Silva; her sister Maria Cintora-Silva; and her sister’s husband, Max Aguirre Ojeda were killed.
