Players matching all five numbers and the Powerball would have won or shared the $40 million jackpot. The prize goes to an estimated $50 million for Wednesday.
Tickets that match the first five numbers, but miss the Powerball, win $1 million each, and there were five of those. They were sold in: Massachusetts(1), Maryland(1), New Jersey(1) and Pennsylvania(2).
There was one Power Play Match 5 winner in New York(1).
