FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Fort Collins authorities say eight small fires set in a field appear to be suspicious and they’re investigating.
Investigators say the fires covered less than an acre and were extinguished Sunday night. The fires were in a field east of Fort Collins along Mulberry Street.
The Fort Collins Coloradoan reports ( ) that the fires caused no damage or injuries, although some outbuildings were threatened.
