The source told the magazine:“Britney will get the boot.Producers wanted her for the long haul, but it isn’t working.”
Spears’ appearance on this season of the show was. Us Weeklycites Spears’ $15 million contract as one reason, a sum some feel she hasn’t earned.
Simon Cowell is apparently leading the pack in the move to fire Spears, with another inside source saying,“He wanted crazy Britney, but he got boring Britney.”
With no official confirmation, or denial, from Spears yet, fans can only hope she’s headed back in the studio to record again.
