Two pedestrians, a father and daughter, were injured in a hit-and-run crash in Lakewood Monday afternoon.
Police say the father got the worst of it because he tried to shield his daughter from the impact.
A Good Samaritan followed the driver to 6th Avenue and Ingalls Street, where he got into a second collision and took off running.
Police say the victims’ injuries are non-life threatening.
