As if we needed any more proof that the Denver stand-up scene was thriving: member and Denver comic will make his long-awaited debut on late night’s on Tuesday, Jan. 29.
Denver comedy insiders have known about the spot for awhile, but Cayton-Holland just made it public by this afternoon. In addition to that, we followed the former Westword writer and rising national comic as he tried out for and performed at various festivals and TV shows — including “Conan.”
“I’ll be doing five minutes of stand-up to end the show on Tuesday, Jan. 29,” Cayton-Holland wrote today, “and I could not be more excited. I’m excited to be appearing on a show that has become a badge of honor amongst my peers. I’m excited to have a great TV credit. But mostly, I’m just excited to meet Conan.”
Cayton-Holland and his Grawlix troupe-mates and — both rising national comedians in their own right — are also putting the finishing touches on which they’ll turn over next month.
Keep your fingers crossed, comedy fans.
