BOULDER, Colo.—Boulder officials say they don’t want boaters messing up their water supply.
A proposal from the town of Nederland to allow boating on Barker Reservoir met with opposition from the Boulder City Council on Tuesday.
According to the Boulder Daily Camera ( ), council members raised a range of concerns, including the potential impact on water quality and invasive species.
The proposal has not yet been approved by the Nederland Board of Trustees.
