Police have arrested a 14-year-old male Thornton Middle School student who is accused of sexually assaulting a female student in one of the school’s bathrooms.
Police were dispatched around 2:30 p.m., Thursday after a 14-year-old female student told school officials a male classmate forced her into a bathroom and sexually assaulted her, according to a police news release.
The boy was arrested for investigation of first-degree sexual assault, and transported to the Adams County Juvenile Detention Center, police said.
No further details were released.
