The feat: The 2013 Tour Divide Race
The story: Earixson has a goal of raising $27,450 for the Griffith Centers to support the work they do helping abused and neglected children. He plans to race in the Tour Divide, which spans 2,745 miles from the Canadian Rockies to Mexico’s Badlands. “I’m no stranger to strenuous rides,” Earixson says, “having done both the Leadville 50 and 100 races, but the Tour Divide is definitely going to push my physical and mental abilities to the limit.”
