A body has been recovered in Grand County during a search for a missing 85-year-old cross-country skier.
The Grand County Sheriff’s Office first received a call on Thursday at about 2:30 p.m. about the skier who had not returned from an outing on Colorado Highway 125, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
The search began early Friday morning.
By 10:30 a.m. search and rescue teams had located a body.
The coroner’s office has not yet confirmed the body’s identity.
