Getting your player ready...

Looking to take your passion for cooking or your skills with baking to a new level? Perhaps a career change?

Johnson & Wales University will be hosting a campus Preview Day on Feb. 16, including a culinary demonstration, tour of the campus, informational booths and light lunch served in the University Events Center.

Prospective students interested in completing an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree through the weekend culinary arts or baking and pastry arts programs – with labs on Saturdays – may participate in a “Shadow Day,” and observe a lab of their choosing (e.g. Stocks, Sauces and Soups) for two hours. Interact with current students and chef instructors while learning how you can return to school while working full-time.

Also learn about the new MBA in Hospitality at Johnson & Wales University. They have developed a hybrid educational model that combines the traditional approach of in-class learning with an online component, giving students convenience and an experience that mirrors today’s work environment.

You will learn how to enhance revenues from strategic channels, evaluate marketing outcomes, conduct high-level research, and train in event operations and marketing – essential tools for leadership positions in hospitality and tourism. This is an exciting and unique program that will also give you the opportunity to interact and engage with other professionals in your industry.
