Traffic on southbound Interstate 25 just north of Alameda is backing up as police investigate an accident involving a state patrol trooper.
Sonny Jackson, a spokesman for Denver Police said a Colorado State Patrol trooper was involved in an accident with one other vehicle just before 9 p.m.
No injuries have been reported.
It is unclear at this point, how the accident happened, or who is at fault, Jackson said.
Traffic on I-25 has been reduced to one lane for the investigation.
