FRISCO, Colo.—A Summit County inmate who walked away from a work release program after calling the jail to say he would be late is back behind bars.
A warrant was issued for Ramon Soto after he apparently went to Denver without authorization during a scheduled work release Monday.
According to the Summit Daily ( ), Soto called the staff at the Summit County Jail to let them know he would be late returning from his release because a friend’s car broke down.
Soto was serving a one-year sentence for a DUI conviction out of Lake County. He now faces new charges of escape.
