DENVER—Glendale police are investigating after a man was found dead near a popular jogging trail along Cherry Creek.

Police Capt. Mike Gross tells The Denver Post ( ) the victim was in his mid-50s and frequently camped beside the creek. His name has not been released.

A jogger found the body at about 4 p.m. Friday, and police say the death does not appear to be from natural causes or a suicide. Detectives were searching Saturday for a homeless man considered to be a person of interest in the death, the manner of which has not been released.
