COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Six juveniles are facing arson charges after a witness caught them in the act.
Police say the witness photographed the boys setting fires in a creek bed just east of Sagebrush Park on Sunday. The boys reportedly were using a lighter and an aerosol can.
According to KKTV-TV ( ), Colorado Springs police and the fire department both responded after the witness called police. The boys tried running away after spotting firefighters, but were quickly located at nearby Sand Creek Elementary School.
