A public memorial service for slain corrections chief Tom Clements will be Monday morning in Colorado Springs, the governor’s office announced Thursday.

The memorial will be at 10 a.m. at New Life Church, 11025 Voyager Parkway, Colorado Springs

A private funeral is set for Sunday. Details about that funeral will not be released. Media and the community are asked to respect the family’s request for privacy.
