A woman told Aurora police she was shot while driving Sunday night.
She pulled into a McDonald’s parking lot at East Mississippi Avenue and South Uvalda Street at 9:25 p.m.
Aurora police spokesman Frank Fania described the woman’s injury as a “grazing wound, non-life-threatening.” He said the woman called a friend before calling police.
“We’re still trying to find out what happened and where,” he said.
The area is about two blocks west of Interstate 225, about a mile south of Town Center at Aurora mall.
