It’s been two years since Portland duo ‘s last record, “Shangri-La,” but member Claire L. Evans has apparently been busy.
She’s just released “High Frontiers,” a collection of interviews, essays and poems from her other career as a .
Science writing can be pretty dense, but Evans seems to go out of her way with “High Frontiers” to make the content appealing to us layman. Just take a look at a sample of the chapter titles from the 150-page e-book:
- The Earth is the New Moon
- Martian Time-Slip: A Sonnet
- Control a Computer With Your Brain, And Look Good Doing It
- Read the Internet, Speak English

- How to get High in the Future
“This collection brings together essays, interviews, and criticism from five years of general inquiry about science, technology, science fiction, culture, art, space, the unknown, and everything in between,” Evans wrote in a news release.
