Even if a zombie apocalypse breaks out we can now say Delta Spirit has you covered. The band’s newest track, “Running,” was written specifically for an upcoming episode of AMC’s popular zombie drama “The Walking Dead.” The song nails the feel of alternating badass/desperation that’s a hallmark of the show’s grim and gritty world. It also makes a solid case for its place alongside all that AC/DC you have jammed in your current zombie apocalypse playlist. Watch Delta Spirit’s “Walking Dead” song below.
In other Delta Spirit news, the band has just released the video for “Yamaha,” off their latest self-titled LP. Shot by frontman Matt Vasquez, the video doubles as a mini-tour documentary, showing the band onstage at last year’s ACL among other destinations and looking wistfully out bus windows.
