Here are the Denver concert tickets on sale this weekend (March 29), with Prince, John Mayer and more.
Prince — Ogden Theatre, $250
could easily pack the Pepsi Center — as the Purple One did during a pair of shows there in 2004. But for his latest Colorado stop, Prince is playing four shows over two nights at the 1,700-seat Ogden Theatre, an arguably once-in-a-lifetime chance for Coloradans to see this funky genius up close. Tickets for the May 12-13 concerts, at 8 p.m. and 11:30 nightly, aren’t exactly cheap, but some are still available. Don’t say we didn’t warn you. The May 12 day is the only sold out date. Pitbull, Ke$ha — Fiddler’s Green, $25-$99.50
The jokes about and co-headlining summer tour practically write themselves, but there’s no denying the pair’s commercial appeal. Tickets for their June 11 concert at Fiddler’s Green are on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. ($25-$99.50, livenation.com)
John Mayer — Red Rocks, $56-$69.50
’s first major tour in three years will also hit Red Rocks, with “American Idol” winner Phillip Phillips, on July 16. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. ($56-$69.50, Ticketmaster)
Mishawaka Amphitheatre — $20-$42.50
announced nine summer shows through July, including the traditional Head for the Hills’ Pickin’ on the Poudre (May 18), Dawes (May 24), Ryan Bingham (May 25), Bruce Hornsby (July 19) and John Hiatt (July 26). Tickets are on sale. ($20-$42.50, mishawaka.ticketforce.com)
Keith Urban — Red Rocks, TBA
joins pop-country stars Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney and others in announcing a Denver summer date — in this case an Aug. 30 show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Tickets for the concert, with Little Big Town, are on sale at 10 a.m. April 5, with prices to be announced. (Ticketmaster)
Chris Hardwick — Comedy Works, $25
If you missed podcast hero and all-around nice guy when he brought his Nerdist tour to the Boulder Theater last March, fear not: Hardwick is returning for a series of stand-up shows at Comedy Works on Larimer Square on May 2-4. Tickets are on sale now. ($25, comedyworks.com)
LeAnn Rimes — Rocky Mountain Music Festival, $20-$69
dzܲԳٰ’s will headline the third annual Rocky Mountain Music Festival at Clement Park in Littleton on Aug. 11, with a battle of the bands and various food and craft vendors rounding out the event. Tickets are on sale. ($20-$69, therockymountainmusicfestival.com)
Dandy Warhols — Gothic Theatre, $25.75
Has it really been 13 years since the ’ breakout album, “Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia”? Why yes, it has! The psych-pop band will celebrate that disc with a June 11 show at the Gothic Theatre, with guests the Shivas. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($25.75, axs.com)
